Hotels in Calabria, Italy

Calabria is the southernmost region of Italy's mainland, with a Mediterranean climate of hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters, famous for its rugged coastline, ancient Greek ruins, and spicy 'nduja sausage. In summer, you can swim in the Tyrrhenian Sea at white-sand beaches like Tropea, where you get clear views of the Stromboli volcano, while winter is perfect for hiking in the Pollino National Park or exploring the Riace bronze statues in Reggio Calabria's museum. Spring and fall offer mild weather for sailing along the Riviera dei Cedri or tasting bergamot products in Reggio.
